DSE ASSESSMENT SERVICES FOR EMPLOYERS

Support your people.
Know what to do next.

For HR managers, a workstation concern is rarely just about a chair. You need to understand the employee’s needs, coordinate the right support and decide what happens afterwards. Ergometric helps you move from a referral to practical recommendations.

One employee

Arrange a detailed individual workstation assessment when someone raises a concern, starts a new role or changes how they work. We review the person, their tasks and their setup together.

A whole team

Plan workplace checks across your team, with more detailed individual assessments where appropriate. Agree the scope, number of people and reporting before the work begins.

Several locations

Discuss a coordinated approach for office-based, home and hybrid employees. Combine onsite visits and remote video assessments to suit your workforce and locations.

Remote DSE assessments for employees

Employees show their workstation by video and discuss adjustments with an assessor. This is a practical option for home workers and distributed teams. A camera and tape measure help us review the setup; preparation is confirmed when arranging the assessment.

HALF-DAY & FULL-DAY GROUP CHECKS

A practical starting point
for your team.

Basic group checks provide an overview of workplace setups, identify useful improvements and highlight employees who may benefit from a more detailed individual assessment.

We agree the number of people, locations and reporting scope before the visit. Group checks and detailed individual assessments have different scopes; we will help you choose an appropriate approach.

REPORTING FOR INFORMED DECISIONS

Clear findings.
Practical next steps.

Detailed individual assessment reports turn observations into recommendations. Reports are quality checked before sharing with the agreed recipient, giving you a useful basis for reviewing adjustments and equipment needs.

Individual report content reflects the agreed assessment scope. Reporting for basic group checks is agreed separately.

Workstation findings

The employee’s work, relevant setup and observations help explain where changes may be useful.

Recommendations you can act on

Practical adjustments, working-habit advice and equipment recommendations where needed, linked to the assessment findings.

Agreed report recipients

We agree who should receive assessment information before sharing it. Use the enquiry form for practical booking details; relevant personal concerns can be discussed directly.

SUPPORTING YOUR DSE RESPONSIBILITIES

Understand the risks.
Follow through on the findings.

HSE guidance requires workstation assessments for employees whose normal work includes daily DSE use for continuous periods of an hour or more. Assessments are also needed for new users or workstations, changes to setups or use, and reports of pain or discomfort.

An assessment helps identify action; employers remain responsible for reducing risks and putting appropriate changes into practice.

QUESTIONS FROM HR & PEOPLE TEAMS

Corporate DSE assessment FAQs.

Need help planning your approach?

Talk to our team
What is a corporate DSE assessment?

It is a workstation assessment arranged by an employer for employees who use display screen equipment. A corporate programme may include individual assessments, basic group checks or both, with the scope agreed around your people and workplaces.

Can HR arrange an assessment for one employee?

Yes. You can refer a single employee or discuss a wider team programme. Provide your own contact details and share the employee’s details only with their permission.

Can you assess home and hybrid workers?

Yes. Remote video assessments can review home or office workstations. Onsite support is also available; discuss the employee’s locations and working arrangements so we can agree a suitable approach.

Can you support several offices?

Yes. We offer nationwide onsite coverage and remote assessments. Tell us the locations and employee numbers so we can discuss the scope, availability and coordination.

What is the difference between group checks and individual assessments?

Basic half-day or full-day group checks give an overview of team setups and help identify further assessment needs. A detailed individual assessment focuses on one person and includes a personalised report. Group reporting is agreed separately.

Do employees need new chairs or desks?

Not necessarily. Assessments start with the existing workstation. Some recommendations involve adjusting equipment already in use; any additional equipment is separate from the assessment.

How much do corporate DSE assessments cost?

We provide a tailored quote based on employee numbers, locations, assessment format and reporting scope. Submit an enquiry to agree the details before booking.
